We delay the need for reading glasses without compromising the quality of vision, unlike other existing surgical solutions. Our vision is to become the next generation standard of care in

2015 : Foundation
Kejako is incorporated at the FONGIT, the first innovation incubator of Switzerland. From the initial observation that presbyopia is a major health issue and the absence of satisfying solution avalaible on the market, Kejako is founded with one goal in mind : find an efficient and safe to get rid of ridding glasses.
2017 : Modelling presbyopia
First and proprietary 3D full eye parametric model to simulate full eye normal optical and mechanical behavior and any disorder consecutive to eye disease.
This model has been built first for research and development purposes as a powerful tool of understanding, experimentation and providing a numerical proof of concept for our solution that adress the physical causes of presbyopia.
2019 : Proof of concept
Proof of concept for the Phakorestoration is achieved on ex-vivo sample. Femtosecond laer based treatment increases relative deformability of the lens material by 30% and visual accommodation by a least 1.5 diopter.
2021 : Safety
Animal safety is proved. Effect of the laser interaction have been fully controlled and predicted by simulation, and all surrounding tissues remained fully healthy months after the procedure.
2022 : Incorporation in St-Etienne
Kejako moves to St-Etienne to get closer to its two key partners and fasten the next developpement steps.
